No. It'll only re-affirm their belief they are most attractive league. If they attracted pep (who kinda represented different social and traditional model) signing for their most plastic oil club they can lure anyone.

Mou, res!
Lol at Harry.. You are seriously deluded.. I can't believe those words coming from another manager  Showing lack of respect to his fellow professionals

How about your countryman, Mr Neville fares at Valencia btw

Thing with our British humour is that you can never tell when someone is joking or not  Yes if he really is that deluded then the guy needs help but I wouldnt be surprised if he was just trolling to the extreme for a laugh

Best part of Pep doing well at City will be English arrogance being served some fresh humble pie

You all have some really weird ideas about what English people are like. Pep is considered the best manager in the world in England. That said, he will not dominate like he did in Spain and Germany, I don't hesitate to say that. The competitiveness and physicality of the lesser sides and the fixture burden just won't allow for it.

I think he will dominate though. He will have pretty much unlimited spending there and they already have a quality squad.

Mou dominated with Chelsea last season. Pep should be able to do similar or better after a season there.

In terms of football and anything related to footy outside of the UK, it's a spot on idea of what the English are known for.

I also don't hesitate to point out the obvious, City are going to be taking a backseat to United for the foreseeable future

Redknapp is a dick. Watch this one from recently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXHoasVT83o

Really mean-spirited. They paint footballers as superficial but Harry was a shite manager, all he did was manoeuvre the transfer market well.

Anyway, no guarantees, but the state of City's squad compared to the rest of the big clubs should give him all the chance of winning the league is his first year.

Well if stereotype exists then it must be true. Don't we have a word for this type of thinking?

They won the League Cup and Premier League after finishing third the year before, and got dumped out of the FA Cup by Bradford. This year they won't even get near the CL places. Hardly domination.

FCBarca just speaking rubbish as usual.

Pep is hugely respected in England and fans of Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea and City were for most part desperate to see him at their club. The ones who didnt say it were probably just trying to avoid being left with egg on their faces if he went elsewhere.

Lest we forget their CL exit too. Bottled for it 2 years in a row at Chelsea, and arguably his last 3 at Madrid.
