Pep Guardiola

Bayern was pretty unlucky not to score in the 2nd half, it's going to be a great game for Pep to silence his critics.

Rubbish. Same people claim they were lucky against us too. It's no coincidence they beat us and Bayern in less than a month.
Fully deserved.

Only ones that are lucky are Bayern with their draw thusfar and they barely eliminated Benfica.

People are saying it's down to luck every time Atlético scrap a 1-0 win (which pretty much is every game ) totally neglecting the fact that that's just how they play.
Could it have been a different result yesterday? Definitely, margin between going through and being eliminated is very slim in these rounds. Taking one chance, one decision going your way,.. can all make the difference. But Atlético lucky? No way.

Totally agree with Galning ^. Atleti did what they do best. They are no pushover.

Also, Pep still can't win an important CL away game to save his life!

Really feel for Pep on this one, people gave him shit for benching Mueller that POS misses a PK and also A. Madrid goal was offside, but guess it was never meant to be for him there.

Yeah ,can't blame him for this one .specially in the 2nd leg .team wasted many chances and Atletico was more clinical . That penalty would have changed everything

Came up against first strong side and goes out.
Sorry pep, you failed at Bayern. But new "challenge" with strongest and richest team in the league await you with City.

And yeah, I do still miss Barca's Pep but that person doesn't exist no more.

In the end, he didn't do anything at Bayern any other coach could not also do. Pretty disappointing.

Still happy Atleti went through.
