Under pep Barca won 3 La Liga's in 4 years. Same as without him in next 4 years.

I have to be honest and say I didn't expect that. Plus.... Title lost under Tata was only in last round and due to wrong offside call.

I expected that tbh , he's not kind of coaches that just manages to win like Mourinho, he also builds the team for future.
We didn't deserve that liga in my opinion, and who knows maybe if we had won it we wouldn't have got treble last season.

But I get your point. Motivation in 14/15 would be lower if we did.

Unforgiven, Clint Eastwood played such amazing role.
But my point was, assuming if we did it Tata would be still our coach :lucho2: but ofc if it wasn't i wouldn't give any shit whether we not deserved it, wining trophies doesn't need to be deserved always.

Didn't he just say recently that he would have left even if we won La Liga?
Pretty sure I read it few times already.

He did. But Barto would have tried to convince to stay, and the worse could had happened then.

It's often you hear these small details (goal disallowed) making great repercussions in future.

What if pep stayed? Would we win another CL? How different would the squad look? How would he counter "walking" Messi if not with another DM like Rakitic. Would Messi stay as CF then and Barca play with 2 hard working wingers (Alexis + Pedro)? Would he sell Pique and Alves as rumored?

So many questions.

Great stat and yes he's only 45 but also only coached Barca and Bayern. And whatever he won in Bayernliga is two levels below his Barca trophies where he actually had tough opposition.

It always bothers me that people forget about Pep's time with Barca B. All this "let him manage a weak team and see what he will be able to do" talk when he actually started in 4th league.
Sure, he had guys like Busi or Pedro who turned out to be great players but you still have to develop those guys and manage to win the league.

Coaching teams in 4th division is largely irrelevant for hosts of reasons but you are bang on developing. Even in Bayern he didn't shy away from giving youngsters their chance.

That's why I would love to have him back once this Barca cycle is over.

He certainly makes players better. Boateng improved massively under him. Tried to play young guys like Gaudino, Coman, Weiser, Kimmich and so on.
