It's that damn board of incompetents. Easily would be sitting on 4-5 CLs at Barca. Won 2 in 4. Another 2-3 in 10 years would've been pretty reasonable for somebody like Pep.

He has an eye for midfield talent which has been one of our primary weaknesses since 2016 in CL.
Doesn't have much of an eye for defensive talent but strong midfield + attack (which there almost always is at a club like Barcelona) is enough to win CLs most years.

yeah true, with Pep we wouldnt have bought players like turan, gomes or griezmann. I dont give Barto the fault for Coutinho and Dembele, nobody could have thought that they will flop here so hard and nearly as hard as Hazard.

Honestly I would not take him back from an aesthetic point of view. His City team is immensely boring to watch. Not much better than EV's Barca to me

There's zero doubt IMHO that he will return, just a question of when & in what capacity. I feel it will be to either head up La Masia or coach one of the youth teams (Cadete level)
There is, however, a lot of speculation that Laporta will try to entice him to return to Barca (Perhaps with Xavi as his #2) to coach 1st team should City win CL (Despite his renewal in the Fall) - I do not see this as a credible rumor but then again Neymar is back on the menu anyway

1 CL final win away from being the GOAT club manager. Or at least top 3.
Difficult to rate him so high, dont get me wrong he is an incredible coach but he has only coached barca,bayern and city. If he wants to become GOAT club manager he has to prove it also in a small club.

the fact that he was successful, broke records wherever he went, while playing attacking football and always improving is good enough to make him legendary.

I agree with that but can he ever become GOAT level coach if he just coaches the top clubs ? I mean although he coached the best clubs he didnt win 10 years the CL. For me he is top5 coach of all time but he will never reach top3 if he goes only to top clubs.

Pele won three worldcups, does it make him the GOAT ? Brazil was by far the best team in the world that time. Of course Pep doesnt need to win the CL with sevilla but prove me that you can do something special with a small club like Raineri did with Leicester. I mean we are speaking of GOAT level, we cant give everyone this legendary title.
