They think they are going to buy him for 60 million pounds. If our board sold him to city while he has a contract until 2026 for a massive loss- I will stop being a fan of this club.

He can be sold but he must be sold at a premium price.

150 million+

1 pound is 1,17 Euros.
So, 60m pounds is 70m Euros.

We paid him 75m from Ajax without signing fee.
So, the price is fair, considering that we bought a kid who was supposed to be the best midfielder in the world and we are more or less selling a flop, limited midfielder who is average at more or less everything except stamina.

Would like to see him coach a club that doesn't have biggest budget in it's league for a change. And then see what he's made of. Did great with Barca obviously but inherited great players and was given everything he asked for. Inherited treble Bayern team and then go on to unlimited budget plastics from Manchester.

Pretty much this.

Like I'm not expecting him to go to an Everton and make them title contenders. But say he did it with current Man Utd or Arsenal it would say more about him.

He's a phenomenal coach but he has always been blessed with the best squads in the tournaments he has participated in.

Not been in nearly as much adversity as other coaches.

Just look at the other Manchester club to see how far money alone get's you. Of course Pep is kinda in a dream situation at City, but let's not pretend it's easy to dominate PL.

Without Pep City would probably be closer to Chelsea than Liverpool right now, and it's not like they'd automatically win a CL in return. PSG has as much money to spend and are still yet to win it too, with even bigger stars on the team and trying their luck with all kinds of coaches.

Spot on, Mourinho had a Manchester team with a massive budget and we saw what happened, it's not just about budgets but Pep needs to win a CL again, credit to him for winning many leagues but he needs to do more.

You mean because Chelsea has won the champions league?

In the current PL table. Klopps Liverpool would probably far ahead if City had any random coach like the other teams.

Even with money it's not a given to be this consistent in the league. Otherwise United wouldn't miss out on CL again this season, for the 4th or 5th time already since Sir Alex left. Pep had 78 points first season, then always 80+ including two crazy runs and likely 90+ again this season.

A Valverde enjoyer should know to value league titles :valverde2:

Yeah spending billions of $$ to be good in the league what an investment that is.
