Pep Guardiola

As I've already told, the reason Thiago's development slowed down is because we have Cesc in our team. And Cesc was bought by Pep when there was absolutely no fcuking need for him.

That is not wrong as an argument, but as Cesc never succeeded in playing the deep positions of Xavi and Iniesta, Thiago didnot show the patience needed to grap his spot. Pep's departure was a problem, bcz it is clear that Tito trusts him less, but had he more patience, he would have stayed this season, played more bcz of XAvi's ageing, and finally next summer, with Cesc going for good (write that down it will happen next summer with less money, unless the earth turns around), he would have been settled for good with no one above him..
Its his fault that he did nt show faith in earning his place in the club..

- On Suarez: Pure speculation. Remember that we were not looking for Suarez-type back then.. We were looking for a pedro-type of player..

- On Pep: You are tragically making injustice to him. His ethical standard is beyond question. He has proved numerous times in more difficult situations. Its absolutely valid to me, when Thiago is going to United, when he is leaving for good, to try get him if you believed him. On the stuff, we dont know if the two video analysts were happy with their collaboration with Tito..
On the contrary, i see that he was the only reason the club transgressed its fate from the ruins Riijkaard left to one of the best (maybe the best) teams in the history of football. You cannot achieve that success, and that revolution, without paramount ethical standards transmitted in the pitch, as football history has shown us.
Since he left, everything worsens for the club. Think you things changed when Rossel and Co took over. Remember that Pep wanted Villa, Cesc and Alves (with questionmarks about Pique) to leave the club, but no one backed him to make the necessary revolutionary changes for the club to start dominating again.. His fall with Rossel, and the pressure that grow only on his shoulder were the main reasons he left..
Put the things in order, and think who hurts the club..

Thiago could have developed with cesc anyway, in peps last season thiago got plenty of minutes with cesc also there. Put your anti cesc agenda aside and realise it was down to poor man management from Tito.

Anti-Cesc agenda, if there ever was any, originated in the first place because the board were going over-board to sign Cesc when we had Thiago ready to step-up!!

I am actually beginning to wonder if Pep had been planning this transfer all along... He brought in Cesc when he was absolutely not needed, when we just concurred Europe to boot!! That when he was planning a move to Bayern remember... He probably even knew there was this ridiculous clause added in Thiago's fresh contract renewal. He absolutely knew his successor couldn't dare to play Thiago ahead of Cesc, the super-star from England!!

As soon as he signs for Bayern... boom! His spoled brat player-son was available for peanuts!!

its interesting how it seems pep knew about the clause but tito claims he didn't and i don't think its because his brother told him.

Seems like exactly the plan. Pretty devious including how he has spun most fans into taking his side of things.

Yeah, Pep is the devil

There's plenty of blame to go around. If tito really didnt know about the clause, then someone should had told him, for starters. But this is amauteurish stuff to me, a coach must know his squad well, including contracts. Anyway, this is not the first time thiago was unhappy and threatned to go. And I doubt thiago would stay even if pep hadnt said in public he wanted him. He's still be wearing a red shirt, but on england.

This 'rift' was a long time coming! Everyone knew Pep and Rosell never really got along. However, what surprises me is how there seems to be a distance between Pep and Tito, which makes me a bit sad, two colleagues now driven apart by the Rosell administration. Though I do question some of Tito's decisions' from last season, he did his best considering his illness. Rosell and co didn't handle it very well though. C'mon ROURA?! Anyway, can someone enlighten me when in the press conference Pep says: 'I saw him (Tito) once in New York but if I didn't it was because it was not possible'. What happened? Has Rosell distanced Pep and Tito? Or is it their own doing?
I read somewhere else, that Pep was upset that Tito took the job, or how it was announced right after he announced to leave. Any thoughts?

Maybe he discovered Tito was Rosell's puppet and just decided to not associate with him.

Tito knew, I've said this before. Don't you remember when a journalist asked him about Thiago he said: "I don't look at the contracts I pick the players who deserve to play"

I think Tito said he didn't know about the clause, but that this was a good thing, as he picked the the players who deserve to play, and not because of contracts. He might have lied, I really don't believe he knew nothing about this. All this is strange from the beginning, though. That clause should'd been better for Barça. As in if he played 60% of minutes, 90mi. Played 50%, 50/40mi, and so on... not from 90m to 18m just like that.

Pep took advantage of this clause, surely. But to try to pin the blame on him for Thiago leaving, or coming up with conspiracy theories is too much for me.
