Come on mate, Aguero has dived more than Gerrard this season but I doubt you hold that against him.

Gerrard dives into tackles, never fakes an injury or ask to get people sent off

(cough, Alves, cough)

Sometimes La liga is tainted by some players gesturing a card to the referee when somebody has made a rash tackle.

If you do that in the premier league YOU get a card for doing that

To be honest i've not seen Aguero play much this season, but what i have seen he rides his tackles well and gets up. Gerard i don't watch much either but ive seen him dive a fair few times, the man's just a wienis.

As for the gesturing/asking for bookings, it happens all over the world (including by EPL teams). It shouldn't but it does. I don't like the way Alves conducts himself when he goes down and do wish he would cut it out, but he's a fantastic player and wouldn't have anyone else in his position. (Maybe Alan Hutton but im Scottish so a tad byeist and think he's one of our top players :D)

1 I'm not just picking on Aguero but he was the first one that I thought of.

2 It happens no were near as much in the Premier League, Ronaldo does it and Drogba sometimes too.

TBF Barcelona are one of the teams in la liga that does it the least (except Alves)

Just curious what you would think about Celtic or Rangers joining the Prem / Championship ?

Admittidly it may happen more in La Liga but it still happens in the Premiership, fairly certain ive seen Liverpool for example doing it and John Terry was even having a go about them getting him booked in the Champions League, Chelsea did it for Puyol to be suspended too.

Celtic and Rangers you say?
...
I can't stand Celtic and Rangers, you get plenty of glory hunters up here, know loads of people who support Celtic or Rangers dispite never being born in Glasgow or going to their games regularly (or ever for that matter). It's just because there the only teams in Scotland that ever win the league. Seems alot of Catholics end up supporting Celtic dispite having no connections to them and the same with Rangers if your Protestant. You then get the Rangers fans singing "God Save The Queen" (pretty much taboo if your a Scot) and "Clap if you hate the Tartan Army" and the Celtic Fans supporting Ireland and not giving a toss about Scotland. Of course not all of them are like that, some of them still remember they are infact Scottish but genrally they piss me off no end.

And it seems like they have no idea what there on about! Best quote i heard from them:
Celtic Fan:"Diving Italian b*****d!" The 'Italian' in question was Kaka :hmm:

And...AND!

:sorry:

Thorny issue right there.

Anyway to answer your question. As far as im concerned they are Scottish teams and should stay in a Scottish League, to change that could start a downward spiral for football, could you imagine other countries trying the same? Maybe a step further would be combining the German and French leagues in order to make it more popular and stronger competition wise... it's just wrong.

these teams are so poor.

however...

buffon
alves, rio, vidic, evra
xavi, diarra, iniesta
messi, drogba, ronaldo

...would be the best team in the world. coached by guardiola, of course!

it has everything you need in a team!

pace, power, skill, bottle, gigantic black men, a gigantic white man, genius midgets, a brazilian, an italian, a preening narcissist metrosexual and patrice evra!

you forgot the penalties that Drogba and Ronaldo would bring to the side ;)

No offence Man U fans, I just like the style we play and I think that Ribery and Ibra would be good reinforcements. Rooney, Ronaldo, Vidic, Evra are just outside my top 11 ...

Pique ahead of Vidic?:lmao: and ye say were biased mate think about it Pique couldn't make it in our team and yet you think he is one the best in the world :lmao:

i thik Ibra is over-rated too and is nowhere near one of the top strikers in the world he has NEVER scored past the champions league group stages and hit the corner flag on about 3 occasion when we played Inter at OT this season!

Personally speaking, I did Pique----Vidic because Pique, thanks to Barca's youth teams and strengthening/redefining at Man Utd and Zaragoza he has become one of the best centre-backs out there in his home coming season at Barca. He's the youngest defender in our back 4, or back 3 most of the time, yet he has become the natural leader at the back, even if Puyol does wear the captains armband beside him. I know you're not specifically talking about me since I have Vidic, but just incase you mention the lack of Rio Ferdinand in my line-up, which i'm sure you may, Pique and Vidic are young and only have room for improvement where as Ferdinand is getting older, at the peak of his powers, but still, growing with age.

This is my prefered line-up due to age and ability that I would not only like to see as a unit at this time, but of course, playing for Barca, not necassarilly a pick and mix of the best there is.
