Essien is a horse alright, but Gerrard is as much if not more a treat going forward than Xavi. He's the top scoring Englishman in the Premier League, and has 22 goals in 37 games this season...... he's playing just of off Torres this year and it suits his game, they both link up so well.

And he got to play in Barca since Milito has been injured and took his chance. Why I choose Pique in my lineup is because my lineup is based on Barcas style and tactics - and Pique fits in just perfectly. He has a very good vision for the game, good crosses and does well offensively. If I would choose 'park the buss' tactics than yes, maybe Vidic is better.
