Philippe Coutinho

Surely if this happens this is the first step in the Neymar transfer. With Coutinho and Malcom gone we would only have Dembele as a true winger.

So €30m for a season with an option to buy? As well as getting rid of his salary which is about €15m. It is better than keeping him, at this point he is a right off so hopefully he has a great season and Arsenal buy him next summer for €60m or so which would be ok.

So it does look like Neymar is a realistic option now, but not sure how we can pay for it without a Coutinho sale.

Bayern paid €13M to loan James for TWO seasons.

No way we're getting more than that for ONE season, unless Arsenal get a buy option at like €50M.

Awful deal for Arsenal if they pay 20-30M + wages.

My sources in Catalunya have confirmed to me that Fc Barcelona is looking to loan Coutinho.

The objective is to loan Coutinho and sign Neymar on loan with a mandatory purchase option.

Next season the sale of Coutinho + additional transfer funds will be used to buy Neymar.

i'd take that loan deal honestly. if we part ways with Valverde next summer, Coutinho may have a place under a new manager here but if not and he impresses at Arsenal, we'll find a buyer no problem.

They paid Real Madrid 15mil to take Ceballos on loan for a season.

Really? The only source I can find on this is The Sun saying "Ceballos' loan fee and wages top the £15m mark".
Nothing official and nothing on Transfermarkt either.

Arsenal must've won the lottery if they're ready to throw away money on loan players like this.

The worst thing now is keeping Coutinho under Failverde so since no serious offer came for Coutinho the loan is the next good thing that can happen to Barca atm in this case.
