Yup he will most likely shine under Poch and actually generate a lot of interest for a big money sale next season.

Sending a 150 million player on loan..un freaking believable.. shows the competence of the board really ... Plus he gets away from a coach who constantly plays him in a position he is ill suited to.. Lets see if he can play better under a better coach and system with Poch...

wouldn't be so sure just yet..

Tottenham have just bid €70m for Paulo Dybala, according to @DiMarzio. PSG are still interested, according to Canal Plus.

can Tottenham afford both Dybala AND Coutinho?

Obviously we don’t know any details yet (and if there will be a loan deal after all) but in my opinion the loan without a mandatory buy-option is not really a big win for us as the only saving only be Coutinho’s salary for the next season plus some loan fees.

They are probably going to pay only a relatively small loan fee for Coutinho.

Spurs are most likely going for only one of Coutinho and Dybala. If Juve or Barca play hardball they'll simply go for the other one.

What's the alternative? Him stinking up the place for one more year under Valverde?

At least under Pochetino, who is a great coach, he can regain some his previous form. And even if he doesn't, he won't gain shit by constantly being on our bench or being instructed to do fuck all by the great mediocre.

It's the best solution at this point. Even getting his wages off the books foe one year and it's more than he can currently offer for us.

Obviously, if he performs for Spurs, we can recoup a big part of the fee that we have paid for him. Which ia the ideal scenario.

If they sell Eriksen to United for a decent fee I think they'd be able to afford both.

I hope he has a great year with Spurs, maybe win something, Pochetino decides to leave Spurs and we can convince him to let go of his perico past and sign with us. We get a great manager and regain the original Cout back.

One can dream!
