Watched him with Bayern. He's been decent.. That's all.

Bayern won't buy him. He's just a stop gap solution. Bayern will buy a German talent like Havertz.

Usual Bayern.

We have to admit they are really good business wise. And they are very likely going to bag Sané on the "low" next summer. I think it will be the deal breaker of Coutinho move.
If they can get Sané for a similar amount of money than what is asked for Coutinho, they will go for the former. Sané is younger, german new/next posterboy. Only drawback is his recovery from his huge injury.

Well i don't think that's something Bayern exclusive. Selling them Coutinho for 120 mil next summer simply would be the 2nd biggest robbery in football history only topped by Liverpool selling Coutinho for 130 (160) mil to Barca

Unless he really really really steps up the rest of the season no club will pay anything even close to that, no matter if it's the cheap Bavarians or a rich PL club.

They're already fed up with him it seems.

"The Brazilian was one of the players who looked completely out of sorts in today’s game. His passing was poor (compared to his normal game standards), he was dispossessed easily, and he made a string of careless passes that gave away possession to Eintracht at dangerous moments, costing us goals on the counter. Sure, he is very talented and can be a world-beater on his day, but this version of Coutinho looks rusty, tired, and in a different league. It would perhaps do him good if the coach opted to rest him for a game or two. Bayern’s so-called “star signing” of the season hasn’t impressed so far, and he has a lot to do to justify his spot in the starting 11."

This clown legitimately seems to be washed up already. Fed up with overhyped Brazilians who fail to deliver.

Time to bring in some Argentinean maestros.

Mascherano > Coutinho.

Tbf pretty much every single Bayern player besides Lewandowski and partly Gnabry looks like absolute dogshit at the moment.

It's the magic of a having a mediocre coach, sounds familiar right?

That being said i'm not expecting Coutinho to suddenly deliever world class performances every week once Kovac is out. He is a class player but just not anywhere near as good as his price tag suggested. Let's just hope he'll have a decent 2nd half of the season, that's more memorable anyway so maybe some team will offer a decent fee. We should stop looking at him like a 130+ mil player because let's face it, a big part of that will just never be recovered.

Loved fighting with everyone who called him world class. Most over rated player ever and the dumbest signing in transfer history with his loan move coming a very distant second.
What the fuck did people see in him that made him worth anything north of 50m lol dumb fucks in charge are brain dead morons as is clearly evidenced not only with this transfer but the continuation of our head coach.

Not surprising though. From Valverde to Kovac is not much of a difference. Coutinho needs guidance. A coach who gives clear instructions what he wants him to do on the pitch. Klopp does that, Pep does that. Additionally, they are kind of father figures for their players and Coutinho is the type of character who needs this in a coach.

Kovac officially sacked.

Now let us see if becomes a new player with a different manager.

Wouldn't bet on it.

Ten Hag to Bayern in the summer then. Done dealio. Another one bites the dust.

It's pretty obvious Bartomeu and co. have already decided to hire Koeman. He recently bought another apartment in downtown Barcelona. He has a Barcelona clause in his contract and he said the other day that Barcelona is the only team he'll leave the Dutch NT for.

Will probably be another disappointing hire, although if he can root out the seniors and make it easier for Xavi or whoever takes over post 2021 it'll be okay I guess.

Bayern is another club that find it easy in blaming the coach and still wonder why the good old days aren't back.
they had 2 30 years old super stars when they won treble, and they expected that to continue but never replaced them with proper players.
They 1st blamed Pep for it, then blamed Ancelotti, then Kovac.
And you know what, I still remember his pre-season interview when he was hired, indirectly blamed Pep , talking how Tiki-Taka is outdated and they should stay away from it. Their fans could never been happier with his statements.
Pep was 2 years and 2 coaches removed from being their coaches and yet they were taking shots on him. May be they should have looked on how their board built their squad afterwards.

Koeman won't come to be stop gap. Very unlikely he will get fired after 1 year unless he had a disastrous year (like Liga 4th seed or something)

Most likely going to be a 2 + 1 years deal IMO. Which means the next board will have the power to decide if they want to move on from him after two years or not. Unless he wins the CL or actually build a team that doesn't get shat on in the CL I don't see him staying past a new board.

Not the best choice, but certainly not the worst either. Would be a 7/10 appointment. There is some form of evolution and conception in the Nederlands side under him.
