Confidence players have to the be the WOAT investments.

This guy is the very definition of a confidence player. When his confidence is sky high, he can be spectacular as witnessed at Liverpool. But after his Barca and Bayern failures, his confidence will probably never reach the heights it had previously.

total disaster

Barcelona have acknowledged that they won't get 120 million euros for Coutinho, and have lowered their demand for the Brazilian. The club think a sum of money between 80 and 90 million euros would be a good sale. [md]

80-90 MIL?!?! What are they smoking? Considering his form and state of mind if we get between 50-60 mil it would be a good sale.

Well they're right, 80-90M would be a good sale. Only small problem is nobody is gonna pay it

He'll be 2,5 years into his 5,5 year contract this summer so his unamortized cost will be around 90m. Since we also got 8m loan fee from Bayern we actually wouldn't show a loss on him in the books if we'd manage to sell him for 80-90m except for wages we've paid him in first 18 months.

He has great history in PL. There are desperate teams and they are willing to spend money. We should get 60mil euro no problem. Imo.

Leicester could be interested with his former coach Rodgers there but don't see them paying more than 50-60m. Unless they will totally colapse in next months they should also play in the CL next season.

And whichever club Pochettino will sign for could be an option too (unless it's RM with Zidane possibly leaving for French NT after Euro). He has coached Cou during his loan at Espanyol and they are still in a good relationship.

We'll see but for now I don't really have too high expectations we'll manage to sell him for good money.

The biggest problem is that a player like Coutinho not only is on huge wages but also most likely has high standards for possible clubs. He probably wouldn't like to join a random PL club like Newcastle or Everton even if they met Barcas demands.

There are probably just like 10 or so possible buyers in total and most likely the majority of them won't make a serious offer.
