Reports now actually coming in that it could indeed be a free signing. We're gonna have to wait for the official announcement, tons of different reports coming in right now.

It makes a lot of sense for the wages he is on there. They know that releasing him is a chance they need to take, because no one is gonna buy him. Barca would do the same with Umtiti but unfortunately he won't agree to such a wage cut. Will be interesting to see if Auba does.

Incidentally the final straw for Arteta was a few months ago when Aubameyang went to France to bring his sick mother over to England.. he left without permission and returned late ,.
Sounds like a real good guy to me tbh

He breached Covid protocols and was late from returning abroad. He apparently went to France to visit his sick mom, and extended his stay without consulting the club.
