The deal will be of 6 months loan + 1 year optional. There will be NO loan fee that Barca will pay to Arsenal. There will also be NO buy option. He has also agreed to vastly reduce his wages.

Fantastic deal for us, basically no risk, and we get a potential game winner to help us with our top 4 fight and possibly EL, however far we get. Not sure what Arsenal are thinking though, since they're only left with Laca and freaking Nketiah now, with both set to leave for free this summer too. It must've really completely fallen apart between Arteta and Auba for them to be willing to let him go without getting a replacement.

I'm very interested to see the exact wage numbers though. If it's 100.000/week or lower for us, it truly is a magical deal, considering he was on 350.000/week at Arsenal. Imagine it's Auba who agreed to reduce it all by himself though just to make this deal happen, that's gonna hurt Arsenal fans like a bitch, if that's the case. Cause I don't believe they would've let him go, if they had to pay any part of his wages.
