Have you ever seen the All or Nothing? They are great series, I recommend them. They've got one on Spurs, Man City and Brazil national team. Last season it was Arsenal, gives a good look behind the scenes.

He got dropped as he was given permission to go to Paris to visit family but didn't return when he it was agreed and then was late for training. However he's been late a lot in the past and breached Arteta's rules a few times so he was made to train alone from then on.

Just as I was pointing out. Club wouldn't tolerate disciplinary issues when the guy was also under performing. They were desperate to get rid and were proven right by releasing Aubameyang and Lacazette.
