Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Every security system has its weaknesses and the players don't live in Fort Knox. Also you can be sure these are no amateurs going after such high profile targets.

I get that but this happens all the time. He has enough money to have a couple of armed security guards at his property, everything covered with cameras and alarms... It's not nice that you have to have that but better than what happened yesterday.

What the fuck is wrong with Barcelona (area) these days?

Petty crime like theft, primarily targeting tourists, has always been an issue in Barcelona, but serious crimes like the above robbery ?

This is happening in every city with big star footballers

It's disgusting. They are targeted.

Better be not famous and rich...

Aubameyang and his wife, who will process the complaint today, have refused to go to the hospital because they did not want to scare their children further. In fact, Bar?a is already working to provide psychologists for the kids. If possible, today.— @elmonarac1

That is true. The easiest method would be to enclose the district millionaires live with a fence and a gate with security like they do in some countries. That way, they can't simply take off in a car at least and have it way more difficult to get in. I fear with todays economics, such horrible actions will become more frequent.

Also I'm interested if he now pushes for a chelsea transfer. Such an event can be traumatic, especially with a family and normally you don't feel safe in your home anymore.

I've dealt with Catalan goons and fiends before. Nothing to take lightly. Prayers to Auba and his family.

Laporta with a black eye... Guess Auba took some convincing on getting out of Barcelona. If I was Frenkie I would pack my bags immediately.

Not obvious, yet an effective message to Frenkie? 4D chess.

On a serious note, hope they're OK. It must be terrible.

If these armed robberies and home invasions keep up, future stars might have to think twice before choosing Barca over the competitors ?

It isn't only a Barcelona problem, it's a big city issue everywhere. Cancelo got robbed in Manchester, Ozil in London as did Reece James.

Di maria got subbed off for PSG as his family was being held hostage.

A large part of the issue I think now is social media. You get more access to players lives before through Instagram etc, people familiar with a City could easily spot the neighbourhood and surroundings.

A large part of the issue is that some illiterate peasents have obscene amounts of money on their hands and flash it around. Easy prey for thieves.
