Do they really? I for one was never impressed by the majority of their signings. They wasted lots of money on unproven talent that so far, hasn't paid off.
Well... they got a better squad than Everton definitely. Liverpool has a stronger front line.

I'd say their strongest lineup is:

-------------Lloris
Walker-Dawson-Chiriches-Vertonghen
........Dembele - Paulinho
...........Holtby(Eriksen)
Lamela(Townsend) -Soldado/Defoe - Chadli

I'd say the AMs are the source of their problems.

City, Chelsea and Arsenal have got the strongest squads though.

Ye, that's just it, I'm not that impressed by that squad. Last year they had Bale to save them, now they don't have that player. And they still haven't replaced Modric. There are still some very good players there of course but there's a serious lack of creativity. And movement.

Red card for Paulinho now...well done.

You think Liverpool, Everton and Newcastle have better squads player for player and that with that squad Tottenham are justified in being below them regardless of manager?

Money spent doesn't equal quality, otherwise Madrid would be the best side in the world. But they should be doing better then they are currently doing.

PS- 3-0 now for Liverpool.

I am Leg End
Flanagan what a guy.

Henderson, Lucas and Allen have all been majestic. Spurs have the physicality we have the intelligence and movement. In the premier league the midfield with the physicality usually wins, so delighted ours has the upper hand today.

I think Liverpool have more quality in their team, yes. Overall, Spurs might have better players in some positions but they don't have a player like Suarez or even Coutinho. Everton? I'm not sure, they finished 6th last season, strengthened their team with some very good signings. They always had a solid defense, built by Moyes and now they've finally got a good striker as well. Barry was also fantastic signing.

Newcastle? Nah, Spurs are definitely better. And I expect them to finish higher than them.

EDIT: And that's 4-0 now.
