Well City managed to somehow win a game they didn't deserve to win so credit to them, those matches are ones that really help you to a title.

a chelsea win on sunday and a united win puts us within touching distance of 4th with liverpool still having to come to old trafford, i'll take that after our start to the season :thumbsup2:

I'm curious to see how Mourinho will approach the Liverpool game, especially as Liverpool played very, very well today. I'd hate for us to park the bus at home like we did at Arsenal. If we put enough pressure on we can get goals, though unfortunately our strikers are never firing, and we NEED Hazard in top form.

Went toe to toe with City and didn't get annihilated. Disappointed not to get a point. We're getting there and progressed is being made.

Definitely agreed. This was a performance that showed our good start to the season wasn't a fluke.

Ps Lee Mason is a twat.

Yeah, I'd even go so far as to say Liverpool earned the 3 pts really, denied a goal in the 1st half and then an Alexis sort of miss from Sterling...Shirt grabbing and holding in the box is a long standing issue, has to be sorted out better than it has been...Skrtel was trying to plant Kompany into the pitch on every corner, you could've called him for a penalty everytime...Which reminds me that Kompany will be impossible to mark on corners from our defense because Skrtel is no slouch himself with all that strength yet Vincent was lifting off for headers as if he was a feather

City have a deliciously fluid & potent attack, their defense is not great...far from it...but will it need to be?...I think Alba will do a good job negating or keeping Navas in check, same could be said for Nasri or Silva wide left against Alves but it's in central defense with Kun & Negredo that Piqué, Masch & Bartra will have to be up to the challenge...Our midfield will dominate possession against theirs but their counters will find space to create danger even with a minority of the possession...Busquets will have to anticipate well in the middle of the pitch...Clichy & Zabaleta are no match for Neymar & Alexis, IMO...Then there's Leo for whom no one can really mark...Wonder what approach Pellegrini will employ seeing that he's gone conservative most of the time against Barcelona

Still, City look the most dangerous attacking in England, IMO...If they can build on what they have thus far and stay healthy, they should win the league
