lets see, they play some bad football but still get 3 points.
The bad football is partly down to the 3-4-3 formation that will be changed once the full backs are fit...we've played some decent football when we play 4 at the back but for some reason our players struggle to adopt to back 3 and we struggle to control the midfield and transition from defense to attack...Di Maria will also be a huge boost once he's back so I don't think there's any doubt about Champions league qualification...We need major slip ups form Chelsea and city to have any chance of winning the title but most United fans will be pleased if we stay close to the top 2 until the end....

Indeed United played very good football not long ago with 4 at the back, complete control. Soon as he switched formation to 3-4-3 they've looked horrible performance wise, night and day, but they got the results so. Mostly down to De Gea. Win against Southampton was daylight robbery.

Scoreline was flattering to United again thanks to De Gea, Liverpool had alot of chances, Sterling at least 3 Mario 2 or 3 all clear cut.

This is a fair assessment. We haven't got any of the big 4 (Pool,Arse,Chels and City) till April 21st so hopefully we see a return to a back four, get our injuries sorted out and start to improve our general play but keep up picking up 3 points nearly every week. If we are within 6 or so points of Chelsea and City come new years day then maybe we have a chance of the title but as others have said 3rd is the most realistic outcome and most fans would be delighted with that.

Chelsea aren't the juggernaut there made out to be, they've had some god awful performances aswell, but Mourinho tends to get it done. Nothing special about them. Except hard to beat.

United can definitely challenge if they go back to the way they were playing a few games back, best i've seen them play for many years. Something tells me Van Gaal will stick to the back 3 though.

Make top four easy.

And last before i forget, Michael Carrick has studded it since that long injury, even at CB. Impressive after such a long lay off, similar to our very own Montolivo.

 I feel like they're throwing around the "____ Messi" phrase around too much these days.

Few days ago, I had some guy tell me that Ronaldo was the "Portuguese Messi." :mou:

You know you're watching an English stream when the commentators can't shut up about a deflected Barkley shot that went in... first goal of the season as well. It's insane.
