He left a squad that won the league by 11 points, it's our stupid transfer policy changing from buying young players with talent to buying unsettled world class players or has beans.

Yea and every coach out there is a ferguson... U won the league because of Ferguson. The Players were not that good to win the league.

But I think Manchester realised that now, late but ok

Yeah perhaps it wasn't up to other coaches requirements but you cannot blame him and slate him for that because, to him, it was more than up to scratch and capable of walking the league and challenging in europe.

Of course u have to blame him, I read on goal that rooney cried each year they need better players but ferguson refused to buy.

Goal is hardly the place to get your news, man. Not saying it's 100% false, but still--Goal? :VdB:

Did they happen to mention at what time Rooney started to cry , or was the crying unpredictable ?

I read on Daily Marca he usually complained on Saturday and started crying on sunday.

I think Rooney's complain was valid and he would've scored more goals playing in team full of creative players like Modric, Ozil etc. instead of Workaholics like Valencia and Young...But Fergie was more concerned with psychology of the players and intangible attributes like courage, never say die attitude etc. so he went for players who he believed had those traits and it worked for him at domestic level....another thing we should also remember is that our financial situation post Ronaldo sale was dire because the debt had to be refinanced and there were even articles about how Glazers were considering selling old Trafford and Carrington so that might also be the part of the reason why fergie focused on less technical players....

Estimated upshot: from 2016-17 season, BOTTOM club in PL will get c. £99 million prize money. And top club will get £156 MILLION. Blimey.

Getting silly now.

Spanish football needs to abolish the minimum release clause in player contracts or the mediocre/bottom clubs in England will be taking away any decent player with ease.

This contract will benefit the whole of european football as clubs drastically over pay for players.

Premier League set to announce record £4.4bn TV rights deal

I would lie if I said that I'd be happy for them.
I'm kinda worried about the direction all this is going. Technically a relegation team in england can afford a fkin Naitonalplayer of a big nation.
Football is gonna suffer a lot in the next decades if this is continuing.
