I don't get the problem here, City will spend 35 million on average player they put on the bench, the team they got him off now have 35 million to spend on players. Exactly the same as always. This is not a new phenomenon.
That's a bit like the new rich clubs even if people will dislike the comparison

They don't keep their money. They spend it all, and so other clubs and leagues become richer thanks to them.

The Serie A can thank PSG a lot for example. PSG invested a LOT of money by overpaying players from their league.

I fail to understand how is it so bad when it happen.

Other clubs are not stupid. Of course they will ask more money if they know the buying clubs have a lot. The money from the EPL will move to other leagues.

But the Enlglish teams wont get players from the other leagues for free.

They will most likely over pay for average Spanish league players and help those Spanish teams get back on feet financially.

The money from this tv deal will get spread throughout the world.

i didnt announce it as a new "phenomen", did i? It is already happening, but not in that extend yet.
Its not just Premiere league clubs who want to buy good players.
If City buys an average player from Valladolid for 35m, then Valladolid can spend 35m on aother average player.
But how can Valladolid afford average players when City isnt gonna buy someone from them?

They dont get tv money pumped up their ass, they can only ever get 35m if someone from england buys something for 35m.
If not, then they will have to buy a "bad player", meaning that Valladolid will become worse.

As if only the EPL had money.

If no EPL teams buy him for 35, maybe another club from another league will buy him for 25. You don't know that.

It won't change much things at all. It won't make Valladolid worse than they are right now as long as they can put new talents on the market from time to time.

you're perspective seems limitted.
You only cover up the situations when an EPL team is spending something (THEN the other team can can do blabla).
But how can a team from Italy buy a player from spain, when his pricetag has risen to prices that noone in italy can afford (without selling players).

How are they able to keep a player and buy another one aswell? Their incomes for CL money are not increasing because of the EPL deal, the merchandize they sell is not increasing because of the EPL deal, the tv money they get is not increasing because of the EPL deal. But the PRICES are increasing because of the EPL deal, heavily.

you mean they can financially survive by feeding other clubs? They will be pleased to hear that.

When PSG buys a player, they overpay compared to what's asked to other clubs.

The same will happen. It's not because one club sells a player for 40M to MU, that it will be the price tag asked to any clubs.

Lavezzi was bought for an insane price. Yet, the Serie A doesn't ask the same amount for all other lavezzi-like unless the buying club is somebody like PSG or MU.

I didn't say that, but if they find talented players, that's their right to want to sell them if they want.

And if that helps them to grow by getting 100M because they found the next Messi, I don't see the problem.

It will cost £10.2 million per game... Ouch

this is 2,5 times the highest transfer fee that my club (10th in Bundesliga) has spended in their club history.
We would basically struggle to compete with a midtable English Championsship team.

Your club will not even encounter the midtable english clubs.

Slots for the CL and UEFA cup are limited.

And the EPL midtable clubs are already richer, and yet they don't win european titles that often as you can see...
