Because they won't be able to compete for player signings internationally as easily as they would have been. The spreading-the-money-around rationale would only work if clubs were selling as many players to Premier League clubs as they would be competing for, which they obviously never would be.
spot on.
Of course the comparison to other top leagues being on the level of the slovenian league is exagerated as i stated in my initial comment, but even if it just turns out half as dramatic as in my example, then that is already too much.
I congratulate you guys for the deal, and of course i'm a bit jealous (i mean you're getting a fuckton of money, who wouldnt envy that), but my concerns are still there. And even if it is just a "possible future" yet, the aspects i was talking about (financial imbalance, foreign clubs reliant on selling players like feeders, inflation etc) are just logical consequences and normal "phenomens" in your everyday's economy. I'm worried about my league/team and the CL - which is and should always be - club football's biggest asset, loosing reputation. It would only be EPL then, all the players want to move there, all the money goes there, all the big transfers are made there, football could turn from europe to england.
