Your club will not even encounter the midtable english clubs.

Slots for the CL and UEFA cup are limited.

And the EPL midtable clubs are already richer, and yet they don't win european titles that often as you can see...

He means second tier.

Whatever. What's his point?

Tell me in which tournament they will meet up.

And money is not everything. the english clubs don't win everything in european tournaments. Valencia or even clubs from the portugese leagues beat them in UEFA cup.

i was talking about the 2nd english league. A 2nd league english midtable club would easily compete with my club financially. Getting the same amount of money, while playing in the 2nd division. On the transfer market they would battle for the same players. Right now, my club would beat a 2nd league midtable club in England, but in a few decades im not so sure about that anymore. Thats the gap im talking about.

The fact that enlgish teams dont win that much atm is down to tactical incompetence. But that is a temporary condition. That can always affect other leagues and teams aswell.

Why are you scared from clubs that you won't directly compete with.

It's not as if they will invite themselves in your league to beat your ass.

And you continue with the ifs. So far they didn't prove anything despite their money.

I'll gladly bend and apologize if your scenario happens, but so far, that's only speculations. the EPL teams don't dominate foreign clubs right now.

I'm not talking like you about a possible future, I state facts based on what's happening now. And they are not dominating anything.

they wont, but thats not the point. I am giving examples of how big the difference would be by pointing out the financial strengths of the teams.
If my team cant beat a 2nd tier english team, how could another german team in CL (that might not be Bayern) ever beat an english CL team? Individually it would be like Brazil vs Gibraltar.

Because they won't be able to compete for player signings internationally as easily as they would have been. The spreading-the-money-around rationale would only work if clubs were selling as many players to Premier League clubs as they would be competing for, which they obviously never would be.

spot on.
Of course the comparison to other top leagues being on the level of the slovenian league is exagerated as i stated in my initial comment, but even if it just turns out half as dramatic as in my example, then that is already too much.
I congratulate you guys for the deal, and of course i'm a bit jealous (i mean you're getting a fuckton of money, who wouldnt envy that), but my concerns are still there. And even if it is just a "possible future" yet, the aspects i was talking about (financial imbalance, foreign clubs reliant on selling players like feeders, inflation etc) are just logical consequences and normal "phenomens" in your everyday's economy. I'm worried about my league/team and the CL - which is and should always be - club football's biggest asset, loosing reputation. It would only be EPL then, all the players want to move there, all the money goes there, all the big transfers are made there, football could turn from europe to england.
