Ronaldo wont leave before he takes Rauls record anyway, surely you should know that. Maybe, just maybe we will consider a 100 mill bid next summer, United is crazy on the transfer market these days, so it might happen :) Take Bale in the meantime, not for freee btw.

Haha i was trying to get a bite but it didn't work. You hate United more than most Pool fans i have met!:lol:

If only chelsea weren't a fair bit ahead it would be so interesting.

Liverpool in 5th place only 2 points behind Man United, 3 points behind Arsenal and 4 points behind Man City. 10 behind chelsea who have a game in hand.

All these teams will be playing eachother in the next few weeks. Sit back and enjoy

Dick Advocaat named as Sunderland new coach. Former Netherlands coach (2002-2004) and before Sunderland, he has managed Serbia in 2014. Also PSV in 12-13 when they finished 2nd. Hopefully he can get Sunderland to stay in the league. His first name tho

He is not from England/USA, so i dont know if his name has a different meaning in his country. Dont understand why relatively many people over the sea are called "Dick" or "Gay"-

"The name Richard is thought by most etymologists to derive from the Proto-Germanic ‘Rikharthu’, meaning more or less “hard ruler”."

And Dick is short for Richard. So there it is.:lol:

"How Dick became a nickname for Richard is known and is one of those “knee bone connected to the thigh bone” type progressions, somewhat similar to how the word ‘soccer’ came about. Due to people having to write everything by hand, shortened versions of Richard were common, such as ‘Ric’ or ‘Rich’. This in turn gave rise to nicknames like ‘Richie’, ‘Rick’, and ‘Ricket’, among others. People also used to like to use rhyming names; thus, someone who was nicknamed Rich might further be nicknamed Hitch. Thus, Richard -> Ric -> Rick gave rise to nicknames like Dick and Hick around the early 13th century."

TBF the worst united team in decades gave peps bayern a real run for their money in the QF's and Chelsea got to the Semi's.

But it is not good enough and we need to be able to step it up to Spanish teams levels again.

Also i would like to see a winter break implemented in england. Might do some good hopefully.
