City players (largely pure mercenaries) don't give a fuck anymore. They know a new manager will be in next season and will inevitably kick most of them out.


Looks like it was mistake for them to announce Pep as new manager during the season, instead of waiting at the end..

Pep is going to have a lot of work on his hands

If you play well you have a chance at staying that's why...you don't play worse when a new manager comes in

It tough, because players know a new manager will want to put his stamp on the team, no matter what. Also, City's squad is nowhere near the level of Barca's or Bayern's.

Im cool with anyone becoming champion in the epl except City or Chelsea.
Love seeing them ripped apart like this, go spend another 200 mil, losers.

But that is far (relatively speaking) into the future. City, by announcing Pep, have rendered their current manager a "dead man walking". This can only have a negative effect.

Doesn't Leicester look like a poorer-british version of Atletico Madrid?

Leicester's story is more dramatic in my opinion. They were playing the third tier in 2008-2009
Atletico already won la liga 9 times before their epic season two year ago.
