disagree, some defensive errors and neither team on level of Barca, Bayern, Real. But good level game.

Errors a plenty on both sides, tactical nativity, insecurity and pure chaos at times. Entertaining, sure, but far from impressed by the overall level.

So you saying / hinting that Guardiola and Mourinho don't know what they are doing, and are tactically naive? How many managers in the world are better?

I know he has scored but Ibra has been crap today. Missed two absolute sitters just before half time and had loads of chances that he hasn't even hit the target with.

I think he meant the players are yet to reach a high level of tactical understanding. Because it's really on the players IMO.

I don't think Pep is really happy with the way his team is playing in 2nd half. They lost too much control and didn't know what to do with the ball often. That's not the way he wants to play.

And it's one thing to have the right tactics and totally other for players to execute them well. They are both new coaches in their teams and are still trying to make teams play the way they like. City will play differently in March or April next year than they played today. United probably too.

And people thought Utd would win because they had a more physical midfield.. How many times footballing brain beats everything, city passed them off the park and could have scored way more they just lacked that killer instinct.

to me it's rubbish. Look at all the quality players on that pitch who were raved about so much last year before coming to the PL, now they are dumb players? Ibrah, Pogba, Mkh? Man City are fullbacks away from being a genuine CL contender. It was hectic in the 2nd half because they expended so much energy and it was a derby.

Fuck. Well played City. Annoyed to lose, however the players gave absolutely everything and went all out which was so good to see after what we have had for the last 3 years. What a bloody game.

Ibra, Pogba, Mkhitaryan, Lingard all absoutley shite. Rooney in the second half, Herrera, Valencia, Fellaini and Rashford were superb. Otamendi, Fernandinho, KDB, Silva were immense for them. Bravo was a train wreck and will be slaughtered all year for this performance which is a shame but it happened to DDG and he was never that bad.

Both teams really tactically naive but things will come together in a few months time.

Liverpool Leicester should be a cracker.

City played a very good game imo, but did what we are also guilty of sometimes, missed a lot of 3 vs. 3 counterattacks and gifted the opposition some easy chances. I think we will have 2 very tough games against them.
