What ? Man. United have deserved a draw ? You forget KDB hitting the post+Silva and Nolito clear cut chances in the second half, so City could have scored 5 goals...

Absolute shit we lost but least they fucking tried cant ask for more, havent been as entertained by a game in years. FAR better in second half with 4-3-3, was same last year when Rooney was injured. 4-2-3-1 needs to die.

Btw - a player no one is talking about.

Fernandinho :worthy:

Was majestic.

Very consistent working midfielder. People hype Kante over the top, but Fernandinho who is similar and not far off is still remembered for being the 2nd worse during the 7-1. Him and Gündogan will make the best midfield pairing in the PL this year.

It seems like he has elevated to a new level this season. If Pep gets Gundogan going too, then he's going to get the utter midfield dominance he strives.

It's not just him. Kolarov, KDB, Silva, Sterling - they all look like different players now. And I can't wait to see Gundogan healthy and bossing the midfield, plus Sane being match fit and more sharp than he was yesterday. City will get more & more exciting to watch this season, when they really start to click and look like a true Guardiola team.

Fernandinho >> Elbows every day of the week

Thought Fernando impacted the match the most to bring stability back when City were on their back foot

Sané is a really intriguing talent, has a glide to his game you don't see much in footballers anymore - throwback. Will Gundogan regain his fitness & form, will Jesus provide something in the 2nd half of the season but will Pep ultimately get all these pieces working in harmony for 90 minutes - we'll see

What continues to be clear though, #PepEffect

As soon as Gündogan is fit then Fernandinho will probably be out of the team.

Courtois and Cahill. *facepalm* from 1-0 up to 2-1 down in about 2 minutes, although it seems Cahill was actually fouled, ah well.

City-United was actually such a great match. Really enjoyed it.

Prediction: Mou will win the return leg at the Etihad. I am willing to bet 1000 Barca Forum bucks!
