It is dumb but from Blues fans' perspectives (myself included) his transfer fee basically saves our dire financial situation, means we can possibly push on from the last 2 shocking seasons we've had. His goals this year have earned us quite a few points even if he didn't score many. And he's a local lad and fan of blues, always helping out the community etc, quite a grounded guy from what I've heard. Still a bit silly to retire his number but luckily who the fuck turns up to a club wanting the number 22 anyway lol.
