I have to give him some credit, he has done better than i ever expected him to, and they do play decent football.

But, the fact remains, he was never anything more than another average/above average manager before he got this job, it would make no sense if he started winning league titles with United.

They play better than under Mou. That's for sure.
They can do one thing really well under Ole: to stay compact and kill on quick counters.
But still ineffective against deep blocks, and blatant in creation apart from Bruno

I think you're misinterpreting the stat a little bit. Exceeding xG doesn't suggest luck, it suggests that you have talented forwards.
