They have what it takes attacking-wise no doubt, but they are very suspect defensively. They'd need a superb defensive display, which is rare for a Bundesliga side. Almost all have mediocre or bad defenses.

I wasn’t even thinking about defence or attack. More that City could just shit their pants like they do in CL. We’ll see though.

1 min and Kabak is already looking like a clown. Madrid are in the semis.

Liverpool's golden age came to a screeching halt even before liftoff. Lol.

They better make EV a shrine over at Anfield. A competent manager and they sit on 1 PL in their 4 "golden years".

Equally City are poor finishing wise so that balances the scale you can't take advantage of a poor defense if you can score.

Yea, fair point. City have two major flaws tbh, both of which are very bad for CL format. Super wasteful, no reliable world-class scorer, and dreamy in defense with quite an impressive blunder ability from nearly all the back 4.

I've seen unique blunders from all of Ederson, Walker, Stones, even Dias has great "potential" in this area, Laporte, Mendy.

Birdy will mourn that City loss v Leeds more than a potential Barca loss v RM.

I wish I were a fan of 'great football'. Would get to watch a CL win practically every season.

To me the more concerning part is the killer instincts upfront you can still win games, titles etc with an average to good defence, but not with wastefully forwards who need 10 chances to score a goal. I somewhat feel bad for KdB man could get 30-40 assist in a season if he had a good finisher up front. I've seen a little of them, but generally what I've seen and heard online their best formation is,

Foden-KdB-Mahrez
Gundo-Rodri-BSilva
Zinc-Dias-Stones-Cancelo
Ederson
