Classic Pep.
3 good seasons and then he gets figured out.
What a shock.
This will happen this season:
1. his team will score harder
2. opponents will defend better against City's attacks, they won't be shocked/surprised anymore. They have learned their lessons in the previous 3-4 seasons.
3. teams will exploit counters better than ever
Opponents aren't idiots, you can't sell them the same thing for 10 seasons in a row.
But but City are the best team in the world. Pep is the GOAT manager
Garcia is good on the ball but he seems like a CB that can get done in way to easily if he ends up getting to rattled.
He seems worse off Athetically than the likes of Pique and Lenglet despite being far younger than they are.

3-4 years is usually a football cycle. This happens to all managers. Dortmund under Klopp were absolutely terrible in his last year there.
It's not so much opponents finding you out as you declining after a period, due to natural wear and tear. After a few years you just can't produce the same consistency and the same high level anymore.

In Klopps defense, at least he didnt spend basically unlimited money on defenders and still have the defense looking painfully average.
Peps defensive signing for City really have been poor.
Would be a good option to try to bring Guardiola back and build a new cycle here. Would give it a shot.
Think that's La Masia in a nutshell when it comes to defenders. His physique reminds me of barca days Bartra. Great on the ball, good decision making but mediocre athletically. Someone like Vardy smokes him with his pace, someone like Dzeko would absolutely bully him. He has to put some mass on, that build is embarassing for a centerback.
That said I would still bring him. He can battle it out with Araujo for the 3rd and 4th CB positions.
