Man City and Pep will likely win the league for the fourth time in six years. They have had the by far toughest schedule so far and Chelsea’s lead amounts to just 2 points. They have already played against Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool away from home 7 games into the league.

A Haaland away from demolishing most opponents as well as seen against PSG and Liverpool. I wish that we had Pep’s and Man City’s problems and challenges.

With Guardiola selecting the same starting XI that beat Chelsea, most expected City to play like they did at Stamford Bridge. but the facts are there. same record, weaker teams and less money spent. klopp is doing very well.

Technically superior yet mentally weak teams don't crumble in league matches or in group stages CL, because no matter what happens, they still have a lot of games to neutralize the defeat and they will usually manage to do it due to their technical superiority and their league history in previous seasons.

On the other hand, when they come to CL quarters KO matches = well, just watch majority of Pep's City ties and you'll understand.

Even Mats is rarely crumbling in La Liga.
But when he plays in a key CL KO match or for a German NT team, he is another person.

League mentality and cup mentality are worlds apart.

Klopp maximises the hell out of the talent he has which helps him compete with managers that spend more money and have better players.

I don't disagree, Pep has done a fabulous job at City. But if he had the same resources as Klopp as opposed to the unlimited cash of the UAE, I doubt he would have done quite as well.

Probably City, Chelsea and Newcastle in a couple of years will become the new Big 3,maybe Big 4 if Man United get their shit together.

Liverpool is not on the same level from the spending perspective, neither do Arsenal or Tottenham.

But Newcastle will take a few years to become really competitive
Like it happened for City or Chelsea.
