Antony slows ball down to much for my liking.

Seems like he too often wants to slow game down to get his head up rather than play on break.

Looks like he is waiting for a RB to go flying past him and lay it off.

Needs to be more direct and pass quicker or run at players when has space to do it.

Most flair brazilians like too much to sit on the ball.

Maybe would have fitted us better for a Dembele sub

He is but mostly in terms of touch and flicks to evade a tackle, not so much at engaging an opponent for 1 vs 1s and beating him for pace and skill. If as a fullback you sit off him and just stand close, don't engage him stupidly, you can contain him pretty much in terms of dribbling at least.

Antony is pretty lame so far, can't believe they paid 100m for him, & people complain about raphi, but much like raphinha, I think he needs at least a season before conclusions are drawn.

Raphinha better just now but also 4 years older.

Antony looks like one of those players that could explode as has all the tools.. or maybe never really develops and is an inconsistent player with big moments.

Raphinia certainly better passes with more intent in his passes and crosses
But Antony can carry the ball better IMO. Raphinia sucks at it

If Antony is a better dribbler he needs to show it as Man Utd fans will lost patience soon if he keeps turning down chances to run and commit players. Slowing game down too often.

Very bad for it v Palace also.

Just looked and he is 0.6 for succesful dribbles in the league. Raphinha had x3 as many last season.

That is fucking awful for a wide player who is thought to be a good dribbler.
