This angle as if Barca priotised league ahead of EL is laughable.

Club badly needed the cash from EL run let along the embarrasement of giving Xavi 200m on the basis the team would compete in league AND CL.

It is a massive failure in Europe regardless of the league as both are the objective and for massively important reasons to the club.

Yeah. One of Fofana or Badiashile would have been great. Or Levi Colwill (Also Chelsea CB).

Caicedo would be world class signing for you guys, he's so, so good. So much energy and great at linking defence to attack. I think he's be more important than even Bellingham.

What type of player is Caicedo? What's his player profile?

We definitely need Bellingham. He is a leader and has a bit of Gerrard vibes in him(not nearly as good obviously; people here don't realise how insanely good and complete Stevie was).

Unfortunately, 4th place in EPL is not that hard to get, with the level Chelsea shows and the recent Newcastle collapse.

Nah it extremely tough.

How easy Man U found it today in comparison to Barca etc shows what up against.

Week in week out playing top team with pace/power etc is night and day to other leagues.

This Barca would find it easier to win La Liga than get top 4 in EPL without a doubt.

Liverpool fans might be cunts but Klopp and this Liverpool generation is very likeable to the neutrals.

Except maybe Robbo who's a total shithouse. Love him.

No one says this, no? We tried and lost a close game against United. SHAME.

The League is still the vastly more important title. Financially we hopefully make our run in Europe work.

League being more important is not relevant really and didnt have any impact on EL or how important it was to club for variety of reasons.

Not that 'close'.

United were better team in both legs and did Barca tactically other than that first half at Old Trafford where it was even anyway.

Doesn't seem tough for some Spanish teams to deal with their pace.

The problem is that most EPL teams accept this gong-ho style, almost relish it, and do very little to break up the tempo. City does break it and they basically own the league. That's why Madrid beats these EPL sides regularly. They play their own game, and find spaces way easier. You can't climb over them because they will calmly find the gaps and exploit it on counters, with their own physicality, athleticism, pace, and superior technique, and football nous.

What you get is a distorted reality that exists inside the EPL, but when EPL teams face top teams from other leagues, this so called superiority of pace and intensity is washed away. Best example is the Madrid handling of Liverpool. They handle their pace expertly.

I am still waiting for an answer:
So, if he wins EL this season, would you finally shut up and publicly accept that you were wrong about him?

Barca wouldn't get anywhere near top 4 in the PL.

The squad is easily top 4 in PL level but with Xavi at the helm it won't happen.

People forget that PL have an amazing collection of managers currently. PL is where every coach wants to manage today. You have world class managers like Conte managing Spurs. The gap between PL and the other leagues have widened further recently and you guys know it. PL's product is better in every way.

I rate Ten Hag mate. I also rate Xavi. Simple.

I'm just mocking the double standards.

Real have done well recently and came back late to win games.

They are the only ones.

But the point made was week in week out playing those teams anyway.

EPL teams across board are far better than other leagues.

You're clueless.

Some of your post are the usual EPL supremacy bubble that has been proven wrong regularly in Europe. The team that is owning that league is importing the Barca style in England and having it easy with it setting records of efficiency.
