This argument is old and crappy
It would have made sense if such comments somehow made Madrid leap to a different level.
That never happened. You got consistently outplayed by all the big teams last season.
Voodoo wins don't result from any will to 'show things' to people making comments

Will see how that confidence of theirs changes as games go on. Easy to feel ahead of tie. Different thing being able to react when things don't go to plan

Grealish really comes across as a dumb guy a lot of times. Can do it on the pitch, but otherwise he doesn't seem one of the brightest bulbs...

Not sure that constitutes arrogance at all. City are in ridiculous form and he's been playing his best ever football for them. Expressing confidence and belief.

Arrogance would be claiming Real Madrid are no good or that they don't even deserve to be there etc.
