As soon as we normalized our performances in Europe again La Liga will be fine. Quite frankly we are the ones letting the League down.

Atletico been pish in Europe also recently and they were champions couple years back.

Near enough any team that gets into CL cant hack it and falls into Europa bar Real in recent years.

La Liga have been for most of the last, what? 20 years? And it's not just Madrid, Sevilla completely battered United. Villarreal kicked out Bayern. Plenty of examples.

11th in Bundesliga, Frankfurt kicked out Barca. Roma kicked out Barca. Means fuckall when comparing the quality of the leagues.

We all can play this game all day with every single league out there.

Next season will be the best chance for English teams to do well in the CL & EL.

With Brighton & villa qualifying for the EL most likely.

Newcastle probably doesn't do well in the CL though or arsenal.

Brighton will lose some of their better players and different ball game playing in Europe and league.

EPL has money advantage but also their teams bar City and Liverpool have been less stable and panic decisions aplenty on coaches etc.

Huh? They really gave City a game just a year ago, on a different day that fixture goes to extra time.

Their record is fine in knockouts, group stages they are more questionable as of late.

That is best they could do.. putting up a game v City.. yet go out early again.

Atletico been poor in Europe particularly when been a league winner couple years back and their record of the past.

Mate, Big Sam has been giving some big teams a game recently.

It's possible to do it in one offs.

ATM have been poor in Europe lately.

City were anything but convincing in that tie, against Atletico, who weren't exactly in great form.

You can't give them any credit for that? Okay then.

Thats a very absolutist way of looking at things, do you feel as if City had it all under control the entire time? I didn't.

They got the result, thats it.

Overly debating a defeat as best moment can come up with for Atletico.

They have been poor in recent years in Europe simple as that.

Big Sam gave two big teams a game recently. Doesn't mean Leeds are anywhere in the same galaxy as those teams.........

Do better. You're better than that bro.
