City had some bad periods like this one in almost all recent seasons, dips in form and wasted points mainly to problems in defense. But the team that got a lead on them early on couldn't keep their level and City went on a big run in the 2nd part of each season, which eventually meant another title win.

It's up to Arsenal and Liverpool to keep their level or even improve it, because City will not sink any lower than this. If they can't, City are gonna bag yet another title.

I think Liverpool can't keep it up with goals late all the time. So... up to Arsenal to show they are better now than last season and grab this title.

City were severely robbed tonight. Seems that Goddess Luck gave back to Spurs whatever they took from them last weekend against Villa

In general:
Liverpool have the best attack in the league, they are relentless there, but very shaky at the back. Won't challenge for the title at the end
City are there, and the best team in England by far, but if they keep dropping points in games they should have won, they will have problems.
If someone challenges city it will be ARsenal again, the best defense by far. They have to fix their attack though. It looks so difficult sometimes for them to score

I think the gap will need to be bigger than they by the New Year in order for another team to hold the lead against City in the home straight. They become a machine at that time of the season.

True but I think Liverpool will be there simply because they have no European distractions.

City are City, the depth to compete on all fronts while Arsenal will be confronted (atleast for a period of 2-3 games) on whether to rest players for the CL or for the League with an eye on which one to shift temporary focus on through their lack of major silverware.

Clearly though, or rather right now, that Declan Rice decision to choose Arsenal (or perhaps City's decision not to match Arsenal offer) is having huge implications.

Would Arsenal be in this position without that signing?
Would City have won atleast one of these last games with him?

Feel this season they have more problems in defence and control than last seasons, will be alot better when Kdb comes back but they look beatable

Delusional United fans over on Redcafe want ZZ as their new manager. No wonder that club has been a laughing stock for 10 years now...ZZ is a great manager for an all star team who wants to win big cups.

He's not a league manager or rebuilder. At all. Double bonus for thinking he'd want to live in Manchester lmao

Another huge increase in EPL tv money.

Now getting 6.7 billion for domestic tv alone.

La Liga need to cut out the shite teams and head for a 10-12 team league with more classicos and bigger games.

Cant compete with that.

Pique was talking about reducing the number of LaLiga teams too.

Perhaps 10-12 is too little and may affect rights sales but it makes sense that all things being equitable that you are increasing the rights package that each team receives.

Very hard to put into function though where each LaLiga side has equal voting power. None of the shitters will willingly give up their ricebowl.
