Pep seacrhing for that box to box type and spends 100m odd on Nunes and Kovacic.

Neither would be getting a start for Barca barring injuries. Arguably Barca have four better mids than those two.

Probably reason he has let Rodri be that box to box player at times this season also.

There is a flaw in var that needs fixing. Var doesn't interfere in second yellow cases (2 cards red). That's why kovacic escaped second yellow.

Thats what I have been saying.

Pep particularly has opted for more structured team with less off the cuff ability.

Wants fullbacks that can defend as CBs and 1v1 and wide plyers that can take ball up park rather than take risks to open game up so often.
