Funny to see so much love for my club.
To think there is no rivalry in the history of those clubs, it is actually wonderful to contemplate so much affection from people not even watching Ligue 1.

As they say : Qu'on parle de moi en bien ou en mal, peu importe. L'essentiel, c'est qu'on parle de moi.

What do you expect? When Chelsea was failing in the CL between 2003 until 2012, most of the football world was laughing too. In particular in the beginning when they were burning money left and right. Similarly with Man City.

You must be living in a fantasy world if you think that fans of elite clubs in Europe whose success is mostly down to their own hard work, sometimes for over 100 years, or fans of average clubs who can only dream about being bought by Qataris, Saudi Arabians or other people with endless money, would respect teams and clubs like PSG who are only where they are due to dirty Qatari gas money and a corrupt UEFA BENDING the rules for them. Much like for Man City as recently exposed and which was an open secret for anyone that has an IQ above 100.

As for the rivalry part, not true. We have played against each other in the CL knockout stage (round of 16 and quarterfinals) 3 times in 7 seasons. That is almost every second season. 2 of those ties were highly dramatic with one of them even containing the greatest CL comeback in history to date. No small feat.

That added to the Neymar transfer in 2017 (record transfer fee to date and a very controversial one), before that Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and Verratti transfer sagas, and there is a real genuine rivalry in the recent era much like our rivalry with another "nouveau riche" club in Chelsea back in the day. Not to mention the bad ties between our two boards and the whole Qatar Airways sponsorship that we ended.

So yes, there is a rivalry but a very one-sided rivalry that is in our favor sporting wise (completely) so far. Nevertheless a rivalry. If you ask the average PSG fan from Paris they will list us as our main rivals in Europe IF not the main rival. Pretending otherwise is quite foolish.

EDIT: Even forgot our recent interest in the GOAT Rabiot to make matters even worse.

In fairness, Chelsea didnt really fail, i would say, they got extremely close to the final on multiple occasions, and lost one on penalties.
In addition, they dominated a top league for a few years and some of their defensive records will probably never be beaten.

In contrast to PSG, who simply cant stop bottling what looks to be easy games in CL, and dominating a league of farmers.

Chelsea got considerably better value for the money than PSG so far.

By failing I meant not winning and to be honest with you if I was Abramovich and had spent that fortune on a football club anything else than a CL win would be considered as failure. In particular if failing to win it for 8 seasons in a row (2003-2011). Much like the current PSG (2011-?). Obviously Chelsea were doing many times better in the CL than PSG and Man City have done so far. The Man City owners have been waiting for the CL for 10 years now. Might be 11 years after this season.

Of course. There is no comparison between Chelsea and PSG. I was just saying that most of the football world enjoyed Chelsea's failures in the CL in that same time period that I spoke about and that is pretty spot on.

Psg has banned rabiot from their entire Team until 27 March. According to them Rabiot Was unprofessionell

No pfucks given from Rabiot's side given that he is leaving for free in June and already has been frozen out of the team for not wanting to prolong his contract despite Tuchel wanting to count on him. Talk about undermining your manager, lol and being petty. Ramsay is still playing for Arsenal for instance. Small team mentality.
PSG are already out of the CL (as usual this time of the year, lol), have secured the Ligue 1 title (what a surprise!) and might also win the Coupe de France (main domestic cup in France). Trophies that Rabiot has won tons of times already.
