Quique Setien

I dont want to judge him on the first 50 minutes (and starting 11), but that was shit. Great result nonetheless.

Literally Napoli had 3 real chances only and they were all players mistakes that should have been avoidable. Fripo; Busquets and Pique allowing that winger to pass by him. The formation was actually good given the resources we had

Napoli was negative as fuck as well. Hard to argue against our approach when the home team plays like that. But one of our 2 hanging midfielders (De Jong and Vidal) could have been easily replaced by Fati sooner. Arthur vs Rakitic boggles my mind as well. Night and day difference in quality.

Made the EV error. Now let's hope he doesn't make it again and again and again for over 2 seasons. Arthur and De Jong start the team whenever fit. Don't understand how so many managers can't get this in their thick skulls.

Guy literally doesn't have a squad at his disposal. With Madrid the very next game, he has to rotate. Arthur came back from an injury recently and played the full game against Eibar while De Jong was rested,

I don't think he has the EV man crush on Rakitic, more like he has no other options available.

He had 2 first team bench players available in the apart from Neto and Ansu.

He has no excuse for not starting Arthur. You sub him in min 60 vs Eibar at 3-0 and you start him today. But at least he realized the error and corrected it early in the 2nd half. Didn't wait for min 75 or so.

The guy started Rakitic in a 4-4-2 with no width or pace up front. That's exactly what Valverde did at Anfield and Roma.

No way he should be excused for this crap.

Lets see the lineup in the Classico, if its with either Frenkie or Arthur on the bench with Rakitic on the field, I'm with ya

I've been saying this from before the match began. It was an inexcusable mistake that nearly cost us dearly.

He did sub him off on the 55th minute. Rakitic under EV plays the full game. Anyway, I hope he doesn't repeat this shit.

Replacing Fati with De Jong is risky as Vidal is more attack minded than Frankie and will leave us more open fir counters. Replacing Fati for Vidal early on doesn’t make sense as Vidal was one of our best players in the field and was linking really well with Messi. Placing Raki as a starter, Setien had his reasons and he did make the change relatively early on in the second half

The 4-4-2 is not his fault. He simply doesn't have any wingers. Not starting Arthur was his error and he corrected it fast.

So he's not as crap as Ernie, but started off pretty close.

I wished he brought on Ansu sooner when the game was open. Could have killed them on the break.

While Ansu is not a true winger, he's pretty close and our best option for width and pace.

At worst he should have played a 4-3-3 and told Vidal to occupy the space as he's done in a few games already.

Somehow I hate how dominant we are on Camp Nou, because we sit on these 0-0s, 1-1s away thinking we'll just win the tie on Camp Nou. Some day this will backfire badly.
