Rafa Benitez - The Destroyer of Teams

"Destroyer of clubs". How exactly did he destroy Valencia? 2 La Liga titles after 30 years.
I admit he did fairly poor with Liverpool. Some bad signings but still got them their CL.
He's surely not a likable character but it's just another hate article full of rubbish.

What damage? His job with Valencia was brilliant. Financially: Valencia under Benitez spent 12 million euros on signings. That's in 3 years.
As for the succeses on the pitch.. Valencia only won the league 6 times in 80 years. Benitez got them 1/3 of those trophies in only 3 years.

this.
J while pontificating Rafa as the worst manager , compare the good & the bad ,both sides .

I remember when Cuper's Inter eliminated his Valencia back then in CL's quarter final he was so pissed at Inter's catenaccio style in the second match and said if every team plays like the way Inter played today the fans will get bored and the stadiums will be empty of audiences.

Now you have to say, if every team plays like the way his Inter plays today the fans will be disgusted and GM will be emoty of fans.

It was clear from the beginning. He can't have a success with an incompetent owner like Moratti.

Surely not his fault again.

Benitez lost Inter dressing room, says Eto'o

(AFP) – 3 days ago

ROME — Cameroon international striker Samuel Eto'o on Friday revealed that his former Inter Milan coach Rafael Benitez was sacked after losing part of the dressing room.

"What mistake did Benitez make? Until the match against Juventus (a 0-0 draw on October 3) we had been playing well. Then something happened in the dressing room, which I will keep to myself, and things ended up as they did," said Eto'o in allusion to Benitez's sacking just before Christmas despite winning the World Club Cup.

The Spaniard lasted only half a season after his arrival from Liverpool last summer to replace Jose Mourinho, who led Inter to an unprecedented treble of Champions League, Serie A title and Italian Cup.

Eto'o told a television show, to be broadcast later Friday, that he had not been one of those in the anti-Benitez camp.

"No, I wasn't - I have known him since I was 17 and, I had a great relationship with him. But others had it in for him."

Oo0o0o0o0o0o00!!! Eto'o cannot do that, he is a tease. I have to know now!!!
