He wasn't that bad, he barely played first off. And he was good when we needed him to be, like against Arsenal and the last ten minutes or so against Real Madrid. Yeah we conceded two against Zaragoza once he got on but you can't in any way say he was responsible for both goals. Plus he's a club legend that signed an extension a few months back, I want him to say as long as he's content with sitting on the bench.

When he did play in the first half of the season pretty much every goal we conceded had his fingerprints all over it.

A fine player and great servant of the club, but the time to move on is very much upon us.

Those mistakes were made at CB AND he was off form.

Right now (with Mexico), he has definately upped his game andcan still play DM. Why buy a back up when we already have one?

As ass as he's been for Barca lately, he's still a representative for us. My girlfriend was saying it's a pride thing for his performances for Mex (she's Mex) and I think he can keep it up for a while, although with all the class in the wc right now, it'll be tough for him to keep that same momentum going. Hope he does.
