He's stated multiple times that staying with Barcelona is his priority. If Pep wants him and he's guaranteed a role on this team (he doesn't have to start, but he needs to play or he's horrible) he will likely stay. So far the tournament is increasing his value but this current generation of Barcelona players is so successful that the mainstays have become like Milan vets, allowed to stay as long as they want to.

Let's not forget Marquez was signed while Rosell was still vice-president. Rafa apparently called up Rosell to congratulate him after the election, the two know each other.

Well.. if he is satisfied with a backup role (and he didn't show any signs of unrest so far) then we should keep him. He has a nice relationship with Muniesa and I'm guessing he's not the only one that can use Rafa's experience in his learning process. Also, Rafa can play as a DM and a RB.

he should just start as DM IMO, it suits him better and he has really good passing ability which can be utilised more from a more advanced position
