Barcelona B player Rafinha (20) will be promoted to the first team this summer, but he could leave on loan to have more playing time. [as]

He's a great player and with hard work I believe he can make it on the first team someday. Thiago+Rafinha being a successful midfield pair would be a dream come true.

Thiago in Xavi role and Rafinha in Iniesta role, one is using his right leg and one is using his left leg so they complement each other very well

If he had more pace i'd be super excited about Rafa, but for now i'm just "He's alright, let's see what he can do".

More than anything though I want the brother pairing to be a smash hit. Them two plus Neymar will send Nike in to fits of masturbatory joy.

Rafinha is an amazing header of the ball, has great dribbling and passing skills, and will link up with Thiago beautifully. I hope we loan him to Betis/Sociedad or any liga club that will give him tons of playing time and plays technical football. A season performing admirably at top flight level will be encouraging for his return.

Iniesta is going to play for at least another 4 years (then he will be as old as Xavi now who is still an undisputed starter). That's a huge time frame (4 years ago we won our first treble ...). Who knows who else will come through the ranks until then (Samper?). I don't think we'll ever see a Thiago-Rafinha partnership tbh.

Official Barça shop started selling players' shirts, Sergi Roberto and Deulofeu are available Rafinha isn't. Don't know how reliable that is though.

That's what I found:
In the Spanish La Liga players in the A-squad (maximum 25 players, including a maximum of three goalkeepers) must wear a number between 1–25. Goalkeepers must wear either 1, 13 or 25. When players from the reserve team are selected to play for the first team, they are given squad numbers between 26 and 50.

Thanks for the info, they probably haven't finalized the new numbers then or are keeping Deulofeu and Roberto listed with the B team yet called up to the first team for games (like Tello this season)

In addition to that, the store is operated by a third part, Kitbag, and judging by errors in names and numbers and how long it takes for them to react to them, their access to information isn't as straight as one might think. At least once I've given up, after three weeks of wait, on them getting a spelling right and ended up not buying a shirt.
