Rafinha Alcantara

I'm sorry but it's pretty obvious that Thiago is the better of the two. Saying otherwise is just a knee-jerk reaction against Thiago because of this saga.

Thiago is proven, Rafinha unproven... But, both are talented and Rafinha has the chance to prove himself with Celta probably (on loan).

If Thiago and JDS leaves Barcelona, maybe we should keep Rafinha!

That's a valid statement but I simply don't understand when fans simply turn their back on Thiago and then go on to claim that Roberto and Rafinha are the real star prospects and Thiago can't compare to them.
They're angry. That's the fox and the grapes fable, hahaha.

Why do some people say that he is not good enough for us?

From the matches I've seen he's quite impressive. I hope he does well on his proposed loan spell :D

Rafinha is definitely good enough for us and would do well with a loan spell, however it's so early and rash to say he's better than Thiago.

Thiago always looked miles ahead in my view (talent wise)

He might be less talented ,but he is still very talented with even better physical tools (length and strength ) .he isn't as good passer as Thiago but he is still high character guy and he always looks to score too

This should ave been the case ,but it seems we will keep Segir Roberto instead ,don't know but Sergi is the one that I think he isn't barca quality

One or two years to Celta would be perfect for him. Needs to be more consistent to add something to Barca. Still too raw, but has the potential, for sure.

I never quite got the hype on him but that Espanyol match made me wonder if I had severely underrated him

He was somewhat disappointing at the beginning of the season but over time it was visible how much he added to the B team. He's an amazing header as well
