I'm starting to see a little bit of Arda in him. Great skill, ice cold nerves, and a footballing intuition that allows him to constantly learn and improve. Even with all of that, he manages to add brilliant energy and workrate to his arsenal of abilities.
He's gotten so much better since last year (even if you ignore his recent run of form) and a testament to this is how he's easily performed better in La Liga than he did in Segunda. Before, he had heading ability and decent passing on counters. Now, it's like he's a completely different player. IMO playing under Tata and in a much more refined team will make him much better and more tailored to our style of play. He can definitely fight to earn his minutes next season, and I believe Deulofeu can develop to do the same.

Can he play CM?
True. Luis Enrique is an intense coach and also a good one. Amazing job with Rafa. Let´s send some younsters to Celta for him to develop like Adama.

Hope Barcelona will send a couple of more players on loan to Celta. Luis Enrique is a great coach to develop young midfielders and attackers under. I'm looking at Denis Suarez and Sergi Roberto.

He is stronger/taller and more physical than Thiago,I think his defense is better than Thiago tbh and I think with proper coaching he can be CM

With more training I think he can be a great CM. He already plays a more advanced (further forward) Xavi type role for Celta. Playing him on the wings I think would be a waste of all his abilities to dictate a match.
