Early days guys. It's not like we predicted Madrid would look good anyway. It's just the same brand of Mou football. One thing I don't agree with Madrid fans is the "long term" project with Mourinho. I find it extremely unlikely that Perez will keep him should they fail to win silverware this season. So the pressure is there and you can tell by Mourinho's statements.
But as I said, early days...

Mixed metaphors aside, it's a very valid point and I remember people seriously doubting Laporta's decision to promote Pep after the first few performances. The difference is that Pep only had to tweak a settled side, knew the club inside out and had a totally supportive president rather than a reactionary megalomaniac.

It's early days....I agree...but not even the most optimistic Barca fan expected these displays from a team so loaded with talent as Madrid are at the moment...Real started pre-season training way ahead of Barca...but they look decidedly inferior...this may be due to ultra-intensive Mourinho training...but it may also be symptomatic of something more fundamental...Madrid may end up winning the League....but the CL...it will take a miracle...
