Agree with most of what Bojan said but I really cant see RM getting rid of Mourinho, save a completely humiliating season. Where would they go after that? Mourinho is supposed to be the best coach in the world. If they sack him, which coach would want to take that job on? I just cant see them sacking him after 1 year

pep

Pedro Leon not selected for Auxerre purely by Mourinho's decision. Something we don't know about him ? Madrid's Balotelli ?

Pedro hasn't been the same since the red card. I don't know what is wrong because he was the pre-season's best player. So strange.

For a player coming up like him, he is hot tempered. I hope he focuses because as crap as he was against Levante, he was the only one who put any decent cross or pass. He has the vision and technique.

I don't know what Granero is doing either.

granero was always shit. a lot of effort but no skill imo. he only played because of perez stubbornness for spanish players..

He was shit when he was played deep in the field but when he was given time close to the box, he always made good passes, and he got himself in very good positions to shoot and score. He always made very needed late runs into the box. Di Maria's wasted pass would have been similar to what Granero usually goes after. His crosses from corners or freekicks have always been very accurate and dangerous.

I dont think we´ll be seeing both Benzema and Higuain start. Benzema will play for sure, we´ll see about the winger.

Hey, Madrid fans. I'm looking at the lineup for the game v. Auxerre on uefa.com and have a question. Am I too unfamiliar with the players (or being a clueless yank) or are you guys really playing this one without a traditional regista/trequartista?

Hey there, sorry for not answering earlier.
In league we do play trequartista/advanced playmaker (Ozil) with two wingers (Di Maria and CR) and a striker (Higgy). However, Jose twisted the tactical set-up twice making it 4-3-3 with Ozil as LCM and three strikers Cristiano having a free role, Benzema playing slightly deeper than the other two and Higgy left as a striker running about the furthest distance forward.
Against Ajax we played the first one, against Auxerre the second one. Additionally we played the second one against Osasuna.
