Not the assistant. Karanka is the assistant. Zizou will be a person who links Perez with the team and at the same time he will help the players by sharing experience. But not yet.

Madrid really shined in the 1st half. Slightly levelled off in the 2nd half, though.

Higuain missed some chances and Ronaldo definitely missed a golden chance at a brace after Marcelo's square pass to him.

But overall it was satsifactory result against a good team. Milan really looked powerless in attack for the most part. Casillas made a good save on Pirlo's freekick but for the most part was not in real stress.

I still think if you throw 4 midfielders in front of them instead of just 2, things will be very different. Yes they're good. but not as good as they looked today.

i think the problem was milan lost the midfield battle. Sure milan have a all star attacking but besides long balls they really had no great passes played to them

The ugly truth is that Real Madrid is the best team in Europe right now. Beating this monster of a team will be Pep's hardest assignment by far in his career.

get a grip, man!

best team in europe? because they pummelled depor (hopeless) malaga (won't defend) and milan (can't defend)??

I'm not saying they won't improve, or beat anyone good when they have to, but my lord you're blowing your panic wad just a bit early this season.

i would love to see how madrid will do against a team like chelsea or inter. Due to real madrids early exits in the past few years its rare to watch BIG games with madrid involved

well i dunno how play went in the 1st half cause i missed it but ronaldo's goal from the FK was perhaps the worst wall collapse i have ever seen. he celebrated like he had done something great while all he did was miss on his FK and was bailed out on the ineptitude of the milan defense. other than that good result for madrid, lets see how the do on the la liga tests now

man it must suck ass to be an ac milan supporter, this team has not future or present.
