I don't think Ozil necessarily choked. Tactically, Mourinho set him up for a very difficult task. Mourinho failed tactically last night. The second time he played RIGHT into Pep's plans.

Next time it won't be as easy though.

Kinda agree here old friend , the space and gap between the lines allowed your players to close in on every player with ease.. even Phil Ball mentioned how Xavi actually man marked Xabi and killed him all game ..

Jose is a good learner and as some pundits mentioned he was probably thinking about the return game all second half studying Barca

Lololololololol Jose punished by Weyfa

Would of preffered Alonso and Ramos to get an extra ban, but hey ho, least somethings been done. He wont get away with basically sitting one seat along from his bench in the Knockout first leg either......

well said, this resume all the verbiages I can read here and there.
the stricking part is that the defense didn't get any cover from Xabi for the 1st goal.
Marcelo was short, but IMO Xavi slick slide like no one is in charge of the offside line.

Disc issues for Gonzo, won't be an easy road to recovery really...That's likely a chronic issue, shame, I like the player

Which obviously means RM will be in the market for a striker in January...I've read about Adebayor which seems laughable to me, adding another player who won't do jack tracking back, pressuring or playing teamball...Wonder if they will try to pry Drogba loose...THAT would concern me, as a Barca fan
Drogba would make the RM saga more laughable in my opinion, FCBarca. You have to consider the amount of egos on that team right now. Drogba with all his technique and finishing skills, would add more problems than anything. They need more Xabi Alonso types if anything. Funniest thing is, most madridistas are so accustomed to big buys and spending that they are failing to look below the high price tag buys for the humble guys that come in cheap and are ready to make a name for themselves. The guys willing to bleed for the cause. The Puyol types.

Exactly what I was talking about when you people signed Khedira... Why a deep lying play-maker(not that great to be a destroyer) and a box-to-box player!?

Well, I agree, especially on that last point...Can't buy that kind of dedication/resolve really - that's long been known/understood

Drogba is a game changer, despite his nauseating theatrics...A target man up front who can apply pressure, win balls and find the back of the net...Not a lot of them out there...Drogba, for me, is one

Llorente will be a better signing, IMO.
Drogba wont leave chelsea. I am not even sure if he is built for spanish football. he can be a flop tough

Meh, Mourinho getting suspended won't make a difference. Seriously suspending a coach is the most stupid idea ever, what's the point if they're still able to pass instructions? And Ramos and Xabi should have been suspended for an extra game in the CL.

Agreed...True suspensions should include them not on the grounds and no telecommunications between bench and suspended manager

why the penalty on CR was not called up?
I really didn't like Pep interference with the game, it should be a yellow card at least.
