Villarato!
Yep he sure needs a surgery a hernia in his disc is never easy and he can't move or play with such condition.. the problem is the time of recovery..etc

if what the initial reports are true we are looking @ him coming back early February probably will be ready but without match sharpness for the CL KO round :(

If it's true then I doubt us buying any strikers unless we let Canales and/or Momo go. And I don't really think we need one, we have so much talent which isn't used.

It's now or never for Benzema, he has to step it up, because if he doesn't then people will gladly see Pedro on the wing with Ronaldo in strike even though Mourinho probably wouldn't do so. There is also a chance that we will play Di Maria-Kaka-Ozil and Ronaldo upfront, but I think that's only if Karim flops really badly.

And I don't think Perez is ready to make 20-30 mln transfers in this window.

Personally I've never been in doubt of this teams tremendous abilities, I knew we'd come through with flying colours and smash Madrid.

So Ronaldo is now doubtful against Valencia. Amazing how good things were going for Madrid and comes clasico day and shit hits the fan, and what a fan.

Momo case is clear his contract runs out in the summer and he is persona non-grata , he is free to sign in winter he never regained his form and i think he wouldn't do much last night .

As for what u said Nandor i think it's not the case as Jose can only play 11 and there is regular subs like Lass,Leon and Benzema.. the 3 most used but i don't subscribe to the whole is they played all the time things will be better.. that's quite a load of BS Nandor.. we don't see Jefferen every game and he scored nor we see Bojan every game and he was good.. same thing Maxwell played a lot more recently than Abidal
Jose played those players in Copa Del Rey and recently most of them played vs Ajax.. i didn't see the wow factor .. he needed a striker last night not another winger or playmaker who already suffer still in big game due to his young age.. last year with Racing after the news that he signed for us he was shell shocked with the boos from the Catalans imagine how he would play in the Clasico.. he is too young for the occasion

You can't compare the sitiation at Barcelona with the one at Madrid, therfore you can't compare the impacts or displays of players like Bojan or Jeffren with those of Lass, Pedro Leon or Canales. Barca is a unit that works perfectly, a functioning team, with a system they use for years. Doesn't really matter who Pep takes off or who he brings on, the respective player will fit right in. Madrid however is still a puzzle with lots of pieces missing and some pieces not fitting in.

What good would another striker have been? Honestly! Benzema & Di Maria were hardly involved in any build up or attack. The team lacked creativity in midfield badly...the huge gap between the Khedira-Xabi Alonso combo and the attacking 3 (Cristiano, Di Maria & Benzema) was way too big for one and filled with Barca players for another. A playmaker whos job would be to connect Khedira & Xabi Alonso with the attacking 3 would probably have closed that gap (then another striker would have made a diffrence)...or why do you think Mourinho brought Lass for Özil, fielding him right in front of Khedira & Xabi Alonso? Lass really tried to be a No. 10 and move forward with the ball, but he certainly isn't, as seen on monday once again.

Canales? He certainly would have chocked baring Mourinhos treatment of him in mind. The kid has no confidence, nore the feeling he's wanted at Madrid. In fact, by now he must be sure of leaving the club either this winter or at the end of the season. Mourinho is a world class motivator, but somehow he seems to care only about motivating Benzema.

I beg to differ Nandor , i think everyone had a good chance to prove himself in several games.. Pedro hasn't lived up to the pre-season promise and even with the fall out with Jose he did bring him back to the team and played him .
you are right about the system but so is the case with Jose he is uniting the 4-2-3-1 , it's not about motivation only .. it takes two to tango and those players still didn't tango

Really sorry to hear about Higuain, he's a fun player to watch. Herniated discs are nasty business -- if that's really what it is, he could be out for a good long while.

2 month at least with operation.. 3 to return to fitness.

They are running tests and will decide if they will operate on him or not... needless to say losing Higuain is losing 50% of our fire power

The least of RM's problems was the offensive performance of their forwards & midfielders. They had the ball in the forward area too rarely.

FCB had total midfield domination, even though RM does not have a weak midfield. The defensive performance by the FCB forwards was devastating, how many balls did they take away? The RM forwards do not seem to play any defense, they rest. Messi spent a lot of time in midfield, and he wreaked havoc there.

Losing Gonzo will hurt them, no doubt about it...Benzema isn't yet up to filling those shoes but admittedly, he looks better than he did earlier in the season, to me

Even if they happen to close a deal on a 'name' striker like Llorente or someone, it too will take time to integrate and gel as a unit - something they haven't done yet anyway
